The center provides services for older adults, 50 years and older, who live in the Downey area. Services include health education, medicare information/counseling, personal financial counseling, recreational activities/sports, senior center, social clubs/events and specialized information and referral. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to Downey area residents.
The center provides information and referral to community resources, advocacy, health education and information, recreation/social activities and senior nutrition site.
Senior organizations that use the center's auditorium for scheduled meetings are Downey Senior Citizens Recreation Club and Senior Californians of Downey.
