Early Head Start

The Early Head Start program is for children, age 0 to 3 years of age, who live in the Florence/Firestone area. Geographic restrictions apply.
Services include a comprehensive, home-based program which provides weekly home visitations for parents/guardians and their children and bi-monthly socialization groups that facilitate early learning, social-emotional development and family bonding.
The program also provides identification of special needs children and support for them and their families; health screenings and referrals for children and pregnant mothers; and, coordination of services that address specific needs such as behavior and mental health.
