Spouse/Intimate Partner Abuse Counseling

The agency provides domestic violence services for men and women of all ages who live in Los Angeles County. Services include adult diversion, spouse/domestic partner abuse counseling, and temporary restraining order assistance. There are no geographic restrictions.

Adult diversion for court-referred male and female batterers is a 52-week program that includes group counseling and domestic violence education. The program is court-approved and reports are provided to the courts and probation department when necessary.

The program provides family violence counseling for children and adolescents who live in abusive homes and includes individual and group counseling and education and play therapy. The program also provides a parent support group focusing on domestic violence issues.

The program provides spousal abuse counseling provided for battered men and women which includes individual counseling, domestic violence education and mutual support groups.

Crime victim support in obtaining TRO's is provided for battered women and men and includes assistance in completing forms; staff act as advocates and provide accompaniment to the court if necessary.
