The school readiness program prepares children, age 0 to 5, to succeed in school. Services are restricted to families in the Norwalk-La Mirada School District. Geographic restrictions apply.
Services offered are parent education for preschool parents, foster families, and pregnant and parenting teens; on-site physical/mental health and social services; and case managed home visits to younger siblings, ages 0 to 3, and families of the children participating in the preschool program. Visits provide early education activities and referrals and linkage to health and social services.
