Arts and Crafts Instruction (Physical Disabilities)

The Department provides youth services for children and adolescents who live in Baldwin Park. Services for youth include computer classes, annual health fairs, individual counseling, recreation centers for teens, recreational activities/sports, recreational/leisure instruction, social clubs/events, a summer food service program, skate park, swimming, travel, and tutoring. Some services are restricted to Baldwin Park residents.
Arts and recreation classes include art instruction, boxing, dance instruction and voice instruction. They also have Art Services for the Disabled which uses the creative arts to teach a wide variety of skills including communication, comprehension, perceptual motor, and social skills for individuals 8 years and older.
