Bereavement and Grief Support Groups (Adults)
Provider: NEW HOPE GRIEF SUPPORT COMMUNITY
The program provides grief support groups for people of all ages in the Long Beach area. Groups may include people who have lost a spouse, significant other, life partner, sibling, friend, parent or child. Groups include 8 to 12 members and meet once per week for 8 weeks. There are no geographic restrictions.
The program provides on campus support when needed at schools in the greater Long Beach area. Training sessions for parents and guardians, and an in-service program for school personnel is available. Groups are available online and in person.

Fees
There is a one-time $100 fee per client for a 8 week grief support group; no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
