Health/Disability Related Support Groups (People With Disabilities/Health Conditions)
Provider: FAMILIA UNIDA LIVING WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
The agency provides health services for individuals and families living with Multiple Sclerosis and for people with disabilities who live in the Los Angeles County, Kern County, Imperial County, Riverside County, San Diego County and Ventura County. Services include disease/disability information; health/disability related support groups; and specialized information and referral to community resources. There are no geographic restrictions.
Ancillary support services include advocacy; counseling; emergency medical supplies/equipment and clothing; employer network; food pantry; technology training; university internships/volunteer and youth mentor programs.

Application Procedure
Due to Covid-19, all services are currently being provided remotely. The physical facility is not open. Call for information or to apply. The Toll Free number provides referral to Southern California based support groups, but can also provide referrals and information on SSDI, SSI and Ticket2Work Employers nationwide.

There are no fees for services.
