The agency provides services for non-profit organizations in Los Angeles County and throughout the state of California. Services include funding and private foundations. There are no geographic restrictions.
Funding services are provided for qualifying non-profit organizations that provide services in health promotion, wellness education and disease prevention. Funding priorities are programs that address one of the following issues: diversity in the health professions; environmental health; healthy aging; mental health; teenage pregnancy prevention; violence prevention; women's health; and work and health.
To be eligible, an agency must have 501 (c)(3) status or be a government agency.

Application Procedure
To apply for a grant, the petitioning agency must first submit a letter of interest that describes its general mission and activities, including the population served.
