Child Abuse Prevention

The agency provides family support services for parents in Los Angeles county. Services include child abuse prevention classes that focus child sexual abuse awareness and prevention for non-offending parents, including those that are court ordered. There are no geographic restrictions.
This is a series of 12 weekly classes that teach non-offending parents and caregivers how to avoid potentially abusive situations and how to recognize the signs of abuse. Additional weeks may be added to cover curriculum, if needed. Staff will provide certificates of completion for participants who complete all weeks.
