GED/High School Equivalency Test Sites

Provider: LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT - HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY TEST CENTER

The center administers the High School Equivalency tests, the HiSET primarily for adults age 18 and older, and awards California High School Equivalency Certificates. Youth age 17 must call the GED test center. This is a year-round testing center. There are no geographic restrictions.

Application Procedure
Call to apply; an appointment is required. ID is required; any valid government issued photo ID is accepted. Registration takes about 30 minutes. Appointments for the test are made during the registration process. Individuals interested in testing should, contact a local adult school for preparation, take the practice test and then contact the test center for an appointment. Pre-registration is required. The $150 payment is due during the registration process. Persons interested in registering for the test must have valid photo ID.
Fees
The fee for the exam is $150 for first time testers and is due at the time of registration. The fee for retaking any section of the test is $25 per section. Free practice and sample tests are available.
