Student Disability Services

The university provides post-secondary education for individuals in Los Angeles County and throughout the State of California. Services include colleges/universities, distance education, educational grants, lifelong learnnig programs, professional continuing education, and student disability services. There are no geographic restrictions.
Services include academic programs leading to baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate degrees. The university also provides online courses; an educational opportunity program for economically disadvantaged students; extension services; professional continuing education and Life Long Learning programs for older adults.
Disabled Student Services include accommodated test taking, notetakers, readers and research assistants. A DSS department conducts interviews and assessments for program services.
The university offers Extended Studies or Extended Education programs for older adults, including the Osher Life Long Learning Institute for older adults, age 50 and over.
