This in-person workshops will guide you through using the Tenant Power Toolkit, a free online resource that helps tenants respond to eviction cases.

Workshop Offer:

  • Help using the Tenant Power Toolkit (in English & Spanish)
  • Support in creating and filing your legal response
  • Guidance on preparing the necessary documents

REQUIREMENTS:

Bring your Summons and Complaint – Unlawful Detainer to receive assistance.

Asylee & Refugee Resources Webinars (Spanish sessions)

The Los Angeles County Office of Immigrant Affairs (OIA) invites new asylees and refugees to this free monthly virtual webinar to learn about their rights and responsibilities. Participants may ask questions during the presentation or during a Q&A session at the end. You will not be visible to other participants during the orientation to protect your privacy.

DATE: First Thursday of each month.

TIME: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

  • How, where, and when to obtain important documents
  • Family reunification and travel outside of the U.S.
  • Medical insurance and other health resources
