Foster Parent/Family Recruitment

The program provides foster care and adoption services for children of all ages and their families in Los Angeles County. Services include foster home licensing, foster home placement, foster parent/family recruitment, adoptive family recruitment and adoption evaluation/placement. There are no geographic restrictions.
The program recruits, trains, certifies and supervises foster homes which are then available for abused or at-risk children referred by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

Application Procedure
Call to apply; an appointment is required. A referral from DCFS is required for a child to be placed in a foster home.
Fees
There are no fees for foster home placement or foster parent recruitment.
