Small Claims Courts
Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT - NORTHEAST DISTRICT - PASADENA
This state trial court is an L. A. County Superior Court with jurisdiction over civil, criminal, small claims and adult and juvenile cases that take place in the cities of Altadena, Arcadia, Monrovia, Pasadena and Sierra Madre. Name change assistance and temporary restraining order filing assistance is also provided. There are no geographic restrictions; however, the court only hears small claims cases within their jurisdiction.
Juvenile services include the sealing of juvenile records; processing appeals and incoming-and outgoing-inter-county juvenile case transfers; maintenance of psychotropic drug information and case log numbers; evaluating rehearing determinations and processing California Youth Authority (CYA) case processing.
The court also provides assistance with Temporary Restraining Order filing.
