Hospital Complaints
Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES - ADMINISTRATION
The agency provides comprehensive health care services for people of all ages who are medically indigent and it safeguards the health of the total community through programs which integrate health services, hospital care, and veterinary health services. It also provides information about the county's low-cost Ability-to-Pay (ATP) health plan. There are no geographic restrictions.
Health services are provided at the health centers and adult day health centers located throughout the county. Hospitals administered by the county provide inpatient care and rehabilitation services. See the separate individual entries for information.
The agency's Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Division accepts complaints and answers questions about county-operated hospitals and health facilities.
Environmental management programs ensure safe public facilities and food products. Veterinary services prevent the transfer of animal diseases.
