Extended Child Care
Provider: DUARTE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT - STATE PRESCHOOL AND EXTENDED DAY CARE
The district provides child care for children in kindergarten through sixth grade who attend school in the Duarte School District.
The extended day care program is provided at Royal Oaks Elementary (after school only). Children attend school and after day care program at the same location; day care services are only available on the days that school is in session. Services are on a scheduled basis; there are no drop-in services.
The program offers a variety of educational opportunities including arts and crafts; homework time and tutoring, if necessary; enrichment activities; and recreational and outdoor playtime. Daily snacks are provided. Children who have special needs may be able to attend the program.

Application Procedure
Call for information. The extended day care program is available during the school year; applications are on a first-come, first served basis. There may be a waiting period for service.
Fees
The fee for day care services is a flat rate of $240 per month. Tuition is paid in advance on a monthly basis.
