Air Pollution Control/Fuel Efficiency Incentives Programs

The agency provides consumer services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include air pollution control/fuel efficiency incentives programs. Geographic restrictions may apply.
The Replace Your Ride program offers eligible participants assistance with replacing an older, high-polluting vehicle with a newer plug-in hybrid, electric or fuel cell (hydrogen) vehicle. The program may also provide vouchers for e-bikes, rideshares or public transit passes.
Eligibility requirements include, residing in the jurisdiction of South Coast Air Quality Management District and meeting income and vehicle requirements.
The agency also provides information about the Old Vehicle Scrapping program. This is a voluntary program developed to encourage vehicle owners to retire older, higher-emitting vehicles.
