Health Education (Public Health Issues)
The department provides health education through a public information line for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. There are no geographic restrictions.
The line is staffed by registered nurses who can provide information on a variety of health topics, including women's maternal and reproductive health, mental health, tobacco cessation, and wellness.
Information about public health issues including immunizations, Covid-19 vaccines and treatment, and other outbreaks is also available.
