Provider: ROP/CAREER AND TECHINICAL EDUCATION - POMONA USD
The program provides job training for people age 16 and older. High school students who are age 16 and older may attend with the permission of their high school counselor or ROP advisor. The program serves the Bonita and Pomona Unified School Districts; although there are no geographic restrictions, people who live within the ROP district boundaries have priority over out-of-district applicants.
The program provides classroom, on-the-job training and vocational counseling. Training areas include business and marketing; health services; human services; and science and technology fields.
Business and Marketing provides classes in Computer Applications, Diversified Occupations, Journalism/Marketing, Fashion and Fabric Retail, Floral Design, and Retail Occupations.
Health Services provides classes in Athletic Trainer Aide, Emergency Medical Technician, Health Care Support Services, Home Health Aide, Hospital Services-Convalescent, Nurse Assistant/Acute Hospital Care and Personal Fitness.
Human Services includes classes in Child Care Occupations, Cosmetologist, Criminal Justice System, Diversified Occupations, Fire Technician/Wildland Fire Fighting, Hospitality Food Services, Law Enforcement Academy, Teacher/Instructional Aide, Tutor Training and Guidance.
Science and Technology provides classes in Automotive Occupations, Computer Technology, Film-making and Animation, Internet Service Occupations/Webmaster, Motorsports Marketing, Photography, Video Media Production, Visual Communications/Graphic Arts, and Digital Music.
ROP Bonita/Pomona USD provides equal opportunity to all qualified students. Students who complete training with employment level skills receive a certificate of completion.

Application Procedure
Call the ROP office for enrollment information. High school students who wish to attend enroll through their high school counselor or school ROP advisor. Off campus classes enroll with teacher.
Fees
There are no tuition or registration fees for students enrolled in High School. There are also fee based classes for Adult Students only.
