Computer Literacy Training Programs (Adolescents)

The agency provides youth services for adolescents who live in Los Angeles. Services include after school services for at risk youth, computer lab, counseling, sports, tutoring, arts and crafts, field trips, social activities and career awarness for adolescents. Services are restricted to Los Angeles zip code 90004, 90005, 90006, 90007, 90010, 90012, 90013, 90014, 90015, 90017, 90020, 90021, 90023, 90031, 90033, 90057, 90063 and 90071 residents.

Youth Workforce Services (YWS) provide assistance to young people ages 14 to 24 in meeting graduation and admission requirements, as well as applying for financial aid and scholarships. YWS offers linkage to after-school tutoring, art workshops, music workshops, leadership building events, college visits, SAT preparation classes, peer and adult mentoring, and field trips %u2014 services provided by our center and other agency programs.

YWS supportive services include tuition and book reimbursement, bus fare, gas reimbursement, food and clothing vouchers, childcare referrals, mental health referrals, and a variety of services to support the youth and their families. YWS provides placements in unsubsidized work experiences, paid internships, and opportunities to complete work-readiness training under qualified, caring, experienced professionals
