Volunteer Recruitment/Placement

The center provides volunteer opportunities for individuals and employee group volunteers who live in Los Angeles County. Service includes court community service referral programs, recruitment/placement, volunteer opportunities for court ordered individuals and volunteer opportunities for employee groups. The agency administers five branch offices. There are no geographic restrictions; however, the agency only matches people with opportunities in the Harbor/Long Beach, South Bay, and West Los Angeles.

The center matches volunteers with nonprofit agencies that need individuals with time and talent who want to volunteer in a variety of fields or positions. Signature volunteer programs such as Operation Teddy Bear, Food for Kids and Youth Programs are also available. The youth volunteer programs provides volunteer opportunities to school age youth ages 5 through 17, focusing on empowering youth to make positive social change through active citizenship and service-learning. The Center can also assist employee group volunteers.
