Small Business Development

This is a business assistance center that provides services for city of Los Angeles residents. Services are targeted to low to moderate-income small business owners and minority small business owners. Services include entrepreneurial training, small business development and technical assistance. Services are restricted to owners of businesses located in the city of Los Angeles and Long Beach; income restrictions apply for some services.

Its micro-loan program makes loans in the amount of $2,000 and greater to new, small businesses that do not qualify for conventional financing.

The center provides business plan development and marketing assistance, including minority small business development services and technical assistance. Its entrepreneurial training program is a 12 week program for start-up businesses. The center also sponsors business seminars for the general public.

Business Services provided by Operation Hope are also provided nationwide at locations throughout the United States.
