Developmental Screening

The agency provides services for families and children with developmental disabilities in Los Angeles County. Services include autism therapy, child development classes, disability related parenting programs, early intervention for with disabilities/delays, developmental assessment, developmental screening, health/disability related support groups, independent living skills instruction, and organizational consultation/technical assistance. There are no geographic restrictions.
CARE also conducts customized training, assessments and consultations for teachers, families, other agencies, and school district personnel on the following: classroom management techniques, applied behavior analysis, assessment, behavior management, and environmental modifications. There are fixed fees for services; Medi-Cal, private insurance, regional center funds, and school district funds are accepted.
