The agency provides emergency food services for low income and or homeless individuals and families in Los Angeles County. Services include formula/baby food, government surplus food distribution sites, ongoing emergency food assistance, and sack lunches/dinners. Services are restricted to Glendale; La Canada; La Crescenta; Los Angeles zip codes 90027, 90039, 90041, 90042 and 90065; Montrose and Tujunga.

Services include emergency food to supplement clients' existing resources. The amount of food provided varies according to family size. A typical bag of food may include USDA food products, canned goods, bread, and dry boxed goods.

Homeless individuals and families receive sack lunches, and may apply for assistance 4 times per month. Low income individuals and families may apply for assistance once every 30 days. Exceptions to this rule are based upon individual need.

The agency also provides infant formula, baby food, diapers and milk when available.

Applicants who do not qualify as low-income or who live outside the geographical area served are given assistance one time only and are referred for services in their area.
