The agency supports The County of Los Angeles Commission on Alcohol and Other Drugs, an advisory body whose members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors to represent the interests of their constituents. commissioners advise and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding alcohol and drug related issues with a goal of reducing the negative impact of substance use on residents of Los Angeles County.
