Local Bus Services

Call to apply or for information. 

    Monthly passes are sold at all Foothill Transit Stores and at more than 50 retail outlets; monthly passes are also available through the agency's Monthly Passes in the Mail program or online through their website.

    Individuals 62 years and older may apply for a Senior fare or pass, individuals must present photo identification proving that they are age 62 or over.

    Students attending an elementary, middle or high school may apply for a K-12 Student Pass. 

    College students may apply for a College Student Pass by providing the following: Proof of school registration within the agency's service area; proof of current enrollment in a minimum of 12 college units or 12 vocational school hours per week; a valid driver's license or college student photo I.D. 

    To purchase a Disabled pass or fare, individuals with disabilities must present a LACTOA I.D. card. 

    FEES/ PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees for service. All routes/schedules accept cash, TAP card, and Foothill Transit passes.  

  LOCAL FARES 

  Adult Local + Silver Streak fare is $1.75.

  Student Local + Silver Streak Fare is $1.00.

  Commuter Express fare is $5.50 with TAP or cash. 

  Senior/Disabled local fare is $0.75.

  $30.00 Senior/Disabled/Medicare Local

  $180.00 Commuter Express

  TRANSFERS

  Transfer fees to other agencies are as follows: 

  Transfers (purchased at the time of fare purchase) $.50 

  Discount Transfers (seniors, disabled, Medicare card holders) $.25 

     All fares and passes may be loaded onto a TAP smartcard. TAP cards are available for purchase for $2 at any Foothill Transit Store and may be refilled over and over again.
