Hate Group Disengagement/Deradicalization Programs

The agency provides case management for adults age 18 and older who want to leave violent far right movements in Los Angeles County and nationwide. Services include hate group disengagement/deradicalization programs. There are no geographic restrictions.
The agency assesses the needs of the individual, barriers to disengaging from the hate movements and works to enhance motivation to change. An individualized plan is provided. The agency uses a multidisciplinary team of former extremist, mental health practitioners and social workers. They help individuals identify what they need to leave hate and violence and set and manage their goals to restore their lives. This includes a combination of outside referrals, skill building and peer to peer interventions. The agency also supports the family and friends of individuals involved in the violent far right.
