Youth Enrichment Programs (Down Syndrome)

The agency provides services for people with developmental disabilities age four and older, in the North Hollywood and Los Angeles area. Services include pre-job guidance, disability-related center-based employment, self-esteem workshops, and youth enrichment programs. Age restrictions apply; there are no geographic restrictions.
The Worksource Program for individuals with Down Syndrome ages 17 and older, offers pre-job guidance including skills assessment, resume development and tools for interviewing and dressing for success. The agency partners with businesses to provide job training and placement; ongoing support is available.
Without Limits is a four-week runway modeling program created to enhance the confidence and self-esteem of youth who have Down Syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and those who are deaf or hard of hearing, ages four and older. Participants learn walking, modeling and posing skills, and participate in a fashion show for families and friends at the end of the program.

Fees
There is a membership fee that is set on a sliding scale for the modeling program. Fees vary for the Worksource program; call for details. Referrals from the Regional Centers Self-determination program are accepted.
