Senior Centers

The center provides services for older adults age 60 and older who live in the Hollywood, Los Feliz, Atwater, and Silverlake area and surrounding communities. Services include case/care management, recreational activities/sports, senior centers and specialized information and referral. Evidenced based programs offer the opportunity for wellness and preventive health activities.

The center provides information about and referral to resources that can assist older adults; periodic health screenings and educational presentations; recreational activities such as personal enrichment classes, card clubs, a travel club; and case management services for frail elderly people who can remain in their homes with assistance with personal care and housekeeping services and escorted transportation to medical appointments, social and recreational activities.

The center also provides personal enrichment classes and recreational activities such as dances, parties, bingo games, computer classes, brain fitness games on the computer, ping pong, pool, and Wii Nintendo games and tournaments.
