Schools of the Arts

  The agency provides cultural enrichment for youth 10 to 24 years old who live in the South Central area of Los Angeles. Services include acting instruction, ethnic music concerts, ethnic theater productions and school for the arts. There are geographic restrictions.

  The agency provides a school for performing arts at the Center For Performing Arts site. The program provides a ten week training series for adults, age 18 and older who have basic theater knowledge or have had an introduction to acting; and a program for people of all ages who have limited experience in acting and audition/interviews.

  The agency also provides cultural awareness events, lectures, town hall forums, dance and music performances and theatre events for the community.
