Rabies Vaccinations

The agency provides animal services for unincorporated Los Angeles County and for contracting cities within the County. Services include rabies vaccinations. Services are provided from seven animal care centers.

Services are restricted to residents of unincorporated areas of Los Angeles and to the contracting cities of Agoura Hills, Artesia, Azusa, Baldwin Park, Bell, Calabasas, Carson, Compton, Cudahy, Culver City, Hidden Hills, Huntington Park, Industry, Inglewood, Irwindale, La Habra Heights, Lancaster, Lomita, Malibu, Maywood, Monterey Park, Newhall, Palmdale, Palos Verdes Estates, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills Estates, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, Walnut, West Covina, West Hollywood, Westlake Village and Whittier. 

The agency provides a Vaccination & Microchip Clinic for Cats and Dogs. The clinic is by appointment only. Visit the agency's website at: https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/DACC-VC-10.13.2021-v.2.pdf to schedule an appointment. Two pets per appointment.
