Psychiatric Mobile Response Teams

The facility provides mental health services for people of all ages in Los Angeles. Services include in person crisis intervention, involuntary psychiatric intervention, mental health evaluation, psychiatric emergency room care, and psychiatric mobile response teams. There are no geographic restrictions.
Staff provide evaluation services for people who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis, can impose a 72-hour hold on clients who are a danger to themselves or others and facilitate voluntary or involuntary hospitalization, and can refer people when appropriate for ongoing inpatient or outpatient treatment. Extended evaluations are available for adolescents and children in specialized units.
