Emergency medical specialists provide care and, as needed, consult with specialists in fields like surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, psychiatry, and opthalmology. The facility has helipad access. There are no geographic restrictions.

There are fixed fees for services; Medi-Cal, Medicare, and private insurance is accepted.
Patients who receive Medi-Cal who require hospitalization or follow-up outpatient care are referred to other facilities for those services. If the patient's condition is judged by the emergency physician to be unstable for transfer, hospitalization will be arranged for at UCLA Medical Center.
