Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites

This non-sectarian program provides senior nutrition programs for seniors age 60 and older who reside in the following zip code areas of Los Angeles County: some of 90024, 90046 and 90064 in West Hollywood, all of 90210, 90211and 90212 in Beverly Hills, and portions of 90034, 90035, 90036, 90048, 90049, 90067 and 90069. Services include congregate meals/nutrition sites and home delivered meals. There are geographic restrictions.

The congregate meal program offers hot kosher meals five days per week at a number of nutrition sites in the Wilshire/West Hollywood area. The program provides seniors an opportunity to socialize and to participate in educational and recreational activities.

The home delivered meal program offers meals for homebound seniors in all the previous listed as well as younger people who are low income and homebound due to disabilities or AIDS who reside in the West Hollywood zip codes of 90046, 90048, and 90069 only. Applicants must have facilities for heating the meals. Five to seven meals per week can be delivered. Kosher meals are available any day.

Congregate and homebound meals are provided to residents who are low income and 60 years of age or older at the Palm Apartments, West Knoll Apartments, and the West Hollywood Community Center.
