Provider: CITY OF EL MONTE PARKS, RECREATION, AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT - SANTA FE HISTORICAL PARK

The City of El Monte sponsors two historical sites; a history museum and an historical park. The Historical Society Museum houses period furniture, clothing, and household items from the area; archives of manuscripts; photographs; and a reconstruction of a 1900's schoolroom and a Victorian parlor. The historical park, the Santa Fe Trail Historical Park, marks the "End of the Santa Fe Trail."
