American Red Cross - 2025 California Wildfires Bridge Financial Assistance

The American Red Cross' second phase of bridge financial assistance starts April 22, 2025. Assistance is available for people with homes located in the Palisades or Eaton Fire burn zones. Households will receive an invitation to apply for assistance through an email, text message, or phone call directly from the Red Cross.

To be eligible for this financial assistance, households must apply for the program and must meet all of the following requirements:  

• Applicant is the head of household and is not listed as a household member on any other application.  
• Applicant’s pre-disaster primary residence is located within the Palisades or Eaton Fire burn perimeter, as defined by CAL FIRE.  
• Applicant needs financial assistance for unmet recovery needs resulting from the disaster.  
• Primary applicant’s identity and proof of residence details are confirmed.
