Neonatal Intensive Care

The facility provides hospital services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include emergency room services, (the hospital is a STEMI receiving center), cancer services, cardiac services, Certified Stroke Center, orthopedics, neonatal intensive care, pediatrics and pediatric intensive care, labor and delivery services, volunteer opportunities, WIC, and women's and children's services. The hospital also coordinates with the National Health Foundation and serves as a site of the Prenatal and Obstetrical Access Project; see the separate entry. There are no geographic restrictions.

Cardiac services include coronary care, cardiac cath lab, cardiac rehabilitation and intensive care. Rehabilitation includes outpatient Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and an outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation program.

The hospital recruits, trains, and utilizes volunteers in a variety of assignments within the facility and does special outreach to teen volunteers.

The Women's and Children's Center provides maternal/child health care which includes a neonatal intensive care unit, a family birth center, pediatrics and pediatric intensive care unit.

WIC health and nutrition services for pregnant women and mothers of children under age 5 are provided by Northeast Valley Healthcare Corporation. WIC services are on the second floor of the hospital.
