Commodity Supplemental Food Program
Provider: LUTHERAN SOCIAL SERVICES OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA - LONG BEACH AREA OFFICE
The program provides emergency food assistance for low-income people in the Long Beach/Harbor and South Bay area. Anyone is eligible including people who are homeless and people who are undocumented. The program provides USDA government surplus commodities consisting of canned and dry goods. Fresh produce and other items may be available, depending on donations. Baby food and infant formula are occasionally available, depending on donations. There are no geographic restrictions.

Application Procedure
Call for information or walk in for service. Food is distributed on a first come, first served basis. Picture ID is required for the head of household; ID for all family members; proof of residence and proof of income are requested, but not required.

There are no fees for services.
