Disaster Unemployment Assistance
The agency provides disaster unemployment assistance for Los Angeles County. There are no geographic restrictions.
The Fire Recovery and Resilience Workforce Programs assist wildfire survivors seeking employment, training, work experience, and supportive services.
The National Dislocated Worker Grants program offers a temporary job training and includes positions in cleanup, childcare, and administrative work. The NDWG program also offers administrative positions at AJCC locations for between 3 to 5 months.
Additional programs may offer services including direct placement, vocational training, transitional training, and supportive services are also available. The transitional training consists of 300 hours of paid work experience for adults in the various fields including construction, healthcare, early care and education, and social assistance and government.
