1736 FAMILY CRISIS CENTER - Wilmington Community Service Center

The agency provides housing and support services for U.S. veterans and their families who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless in Los Angeles County. Services are provided through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Services include: case management support, medical and mental health resource referral and advocacy, veteran benefits resource referral and advocacy, legal issues resource referral and advocacy, limited temporary financial assistance, housing search assistance, and financial sustainability planning and referrals. Referrals are made by internal and external case managers, other public nonprofit and governmental agencies, and community-based organizations. All applicants will be screened for eligibility criteria and willingness to participate in program functions. Services are provided in SPAs 6, 7, and 8.
