Dead Animal Pickup

This is the government office for the City of Commerce. Services include animal control, business licensing, building and occupancy inspections, city information lines, election information, illegal dumping reporting, trash/garbage pickup, large item trash/garbage pickup, permits and planning and zoning. Geographic restrictions apply for some services; business-related services are provided only for businesses located in Commerce.
The city provides building permits, electrical permits, elevator permits, mechanical permits and plumbing permits for any contracted work done within city limits.
Election information and general city information is provided through the City Clerk's Office.
Public works includes street maintenance, street construction/repair, street lighting maintenance and street cleaning.
Trash and large item pickup is provided by CalMet Services, Inc.

Call or walk in for information or service. For Animal Control services and dead animal pickup call the Animal Control phone number.
Fees
There are no fees for most services. Business license fees vary; the minimum fee is $75; the maximum fee is $3,400. Call for specific fee information.
