Juvenile Probation

The agency provides correctional programs for youth in Los Angeles County. Services include juvenile delinquency prevention and juvenile probation for juvenile offenders who have been placed by the Court under its supervision. There are no geographic restrictions. The agency investigates delinquent and pre-delinquent youth who have violated sections of the Welfare and Institutions Code. It also makes recommendations to the Courts related to the disposition of juvenile cases; and provides supervision and rehabilitation services for juvenile probationers and placement services, when court ordered, for juvenile wards.
