Food Lines

Provider: GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

The program provides emergency food for people who live in Los Angeles through the Grace Church Food Pantry. Service boundaries are Manchester Blvd. on the south; Washington Blvd. on the north; Western Ave. on the east; and La Cienega Blvd. on the west. Service is restricted to Los Angeles zip codes 90008, 90043, 90047, 90302 and 90305 residents.

Services include produce, canned or dried food items such as peanut butter, soups, crackers and sometimes canned fish. People may apply for assistance once every month, on an emergency basis only. The agency keeps track of food request dates. The amount of food varies with the size of the family. 

The program also provides emergency food for older adults 60 years and older and for people with disabilities. The program provides produce, canned, dried food and frozen food items such as peanut butter, soup, crackers and sometimes canned fish.
