Temporary Restraining Orders

  The center provides legal services to anyone in Los Angeles County. Services include eviction prevention assistance, small claims advisory programs and temporary restraining orders. There are no geographic restrictions.

   Assistance is available to help in any aspect of landlord/tenant situations, filing or answering small claims lawsuits and filing temporary restraining orders. The center also provides referrals for other types of law they do not handle.

  The eviction prevention assistance is for individuals who have received an eviction notice. The agency assists in filling out the legal documents to respond to the eviction notice.
