The hospital provides health education services for people who live in the Los Angeles County area. Services include breastfeeding support programs, disease/disability information, disease/disability information diabetes, disability information for heart help and childbirth education. There are no geographic restrictions.
Breastfeeding support group, diabetes classes and heart help is provided at the Lactation Resource Center/Community Health Education Department.
Childbirth education is provided the first Saturday and last Saturday of the month.

Application Procedure
Call for information or apply online at the agency's website at www.goodsam.org. Reservations are required for all classes.
Fees
There are no fees for the diabetes, breastfeeding support and heart help classes. For the childbirth education it is free for mothers giving birth at the hospital; if mother is not giving birth childbirth education classes are $75.
