The facility provides hospital services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include a cancer center; cardiac care and surgery; delivery/childbirth services; diagnostic imaging; ear, nose and throat services; emergency room care; gastroenterology; neurosurgery; ophthalmology; orthopedics; physical medicine; pulmonary medicine; urology and kidney disease care; women's health and newborn services. There are no geographic restrictions.
Specialized services include an ambulatory surgery center; an imaging center; a neonatal intensive care unit; and a Neurosciences program, which features the Gamma Knife radiosurgery.
Special surgical programs include Ophthalmologic Program including Retinal Surgery, Orthopedic Surgical Program including Sports Medicine, Oncology Program using the latest in radiation therapy - IMRT and HDR, Kidney Stone services, Transfusion-Free Medicine and Surgery Center.
The hospital provides rehabilitation services for cardiac patients, head and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, and occupational therapy for physician referred patients with a variety of rehabilitative needs.
The hospital also provides free transportation for patients who are seniors age 65 and older and individuals with disabilities age 18 and older. The service area is Los Angeles County excluding Santa Clarita, Palmdale and Lancaster. When patients are scheduling their appointments they can request transportation at that time. Also the outpatient departments can arrange for transportation for their patients. Transportation is provided Monday through Sunday, 24 hours per day. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available upon request.
