Veteran Home Loans

The program provides housing services for veterans, families of veterans and honorably discharged veterans in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valley areas. Services include home barrier evaluation/removal services and veteran home loans. Veterans and their families must live in the service area. The program does not discriminate against race, religion, ethnicity, etc. Services are restricted to the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valley area residents.
The Veteran Enriched Neighborhood program is open to United States veterans of any age or conflict (including National Guard) to apply for a home and pay no more than 30% of their monthly income for mortgage, utilities, taxes, and HOA insurance and dues. Veterans and their families enrolled in program also have access to specialized services and education including financial literacy, health and wellness, and vet to vet support.
The program recruits and trains volunteers who are interested in assisting with the construction of the home.

Application Procedure
Call for service or visit the agency's web site for information. CAID or CADL, birth certificates, marriage certificates, proof of legal residency, tax records, and proof of income are required. Families are accepted on the basis of need.

There are fixed-fees and sliding scale fees based on income for service.
