Residential Drug Use Disorder Treatment Facilities

Provider: HOUSE OF HOPE FOUNDATION

The foundation provides residential treatment for substance use disorders for women age 18 to 64 including General Relief recipients. Services include residential alcohol use disorder treatment facilities and residential drug use disorder treatment facilities. Women who have a dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance use disorder and are stabilized on medication may be accepted into the program; however, only a few dual diagnosis clients are taken at a time and each must be evaluated individually. Applicants must be physically able to climb stairs and to participate in the program; the program cannot accept women who use wheelchairs. There are no geographic restrictions.

This is a twelve-step-oriented program. The minimum stay is 120 days. Residents must be willing to become involved in the peer support program and attend 12-step meetings. To assist women in making the transition from a structured living environment to independent living, the program also operates a sober living home for program graduates; program graduates must seek employment or enroll in school to be eligible.
