Community Action/Social Advocacy Groups

The agency provides Constitutional/Civil Rights Groups targeted to the African American community in the City of Long Beach. Geographic restrictions apply.

This branch provides a variety of services for people who live in the City of Long Beach including voter registration and education, advocacy with regard to the the criminal justice system, job listings and comprehensive community education programs to provide awareness and advocacy for civil rights.

Discrimination assistance is also available including legal guidance while filing discrimination complaints and navigating the legal system.
