Foster Parent/Family Recruitment

The agency provides foster care and adoption services to youth and eligible family in Los Angeles County. Services include foster parent/family recruitment and adoptive family recruitment. There are no geographic restrictions.

The agency recruits foster and adoptive families, places referred youth with eligible families, and supports both the families and the children and youth placed with individualized service plans and intensive services.

Youth are referred by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services and Orange County Social Services Administration.

Support services include a case management program that utilizes a multi-disciplinary staff of social workers and therapists, as well as support groups for parents, individual counseling with the youth, and contact with their schools, birth families and other social contacts. Academic support and advocacy is also provided for youth.

The agency also provides a comprehensive emanicipation readiness program for Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services youth, ages 13.5 to 20 years.
